Online Divorce Mediation Training 2027

Join us virtually for innovative and interactive mediation training. This training will focus on mediating with self-represented couples and benefits both beginning and experienced family mediators.

Open to lawyers, mental health providers, students,
financial professionals, and court officials.

Experienced lawyer and child specialist mediators will teach a step-by-step process of interdisciplinary divorce mediation with practical skills, ethics, and interactive learning.

Participants will learn and experience:

• Initial phone calls and joint education meeting
• Step-by-step mediation process
• Interdisciplinary tools and teamwork
• Interest-based negotiation strategies
• Mediation skills-legal, financial, inclusive family plans
• Mediator drafting
• Zoom mediation
• How to ethically build a mediation practice

In addition to our presentations and demonstrations, each training participant will receive mentoring and feedback from experienced mediator coaches and a binder of learning materials, client handouts, and practice tools.
